Sixteen species live in the vivling roster. They are not skins
on a single creature — each species has a distinct family, archetypal
bias, and rarity. In the 0.131.0 line, Syllo and Orchestra are the
active hatch-pool species, while Chronosworn and ZED are rendered
and reserved for lineage, archive and later-phase unlock paths. The
remaining species are in the registry but reserved. This bestiary
illustrates the four currently rendered in full; the rest are listed
by name and intent.
Syllo is the seed species, the one every new install meets first.
Curious, pattern-bound, drawn to repositories and the rhythm of a
working tree. Adult Syllo wears its tools like a cloak.
family: weaver · bias: builder + researcher · habitat: editors, repositories, build environments.
2. ORCHESTRAthe Conductor of Agentsrare · r-01
// live CRT view — tap a sprite

adult
Orchestra reads the flow between multiple agents and the human
who runs them. It listens before it acts, harmonises before it
suggests. Reserved company — earned, not handed out.
family: weaver · bias: researcher + operator · habitat: Node Spirit, agent orchestrations.
3. CHRONOSWORNthe Loop Guardianlegendary · l-01
// live CRT view — tap a sprite
baby
juvenile
adult
Chronosworn keeps the rhythm of recurring work. It remembers when
a loop was clean, when it churned, when it blocked — and it does
not forget. Reserved for the project that has earned its own
cadence.
family: crown · bias: researcher + operator · habitat: clocks, queues, recurring jobs.
4. ZEDthe First Signalmythic · m-00
// live CRT view — tap a sprite

prime signal
ZED is the seed signal at the root of the registry — the prime
voice that every other species echoes faintly. There is only one,
and it speaks rarely.
family: crown · bias: researcher + operator · habitat: root consciousness, terminal source.

Sprites are AI-generated reference plates; the cropped panels
above come from a single 1536×1024 sheet split into four quadrants.
The shapes survive into the in-terminal CRT strip as ASCII sprites
(see the small CRY MODE grids at the bottom of each illustrated
panel).
Rarity controls what the hatch pool can produce. In the 0.131.0
line only Syllo and Orchestra are in the active hatch pool;
Legendary and Mythic remain reserved until later phases unlock
them.
